Drawing from inspirations such as Jason Isbell, John Prine, Jeff Walker, and various other artists with names that start with the letter J, Carson clearly has a deep love for the poetry of “mostly true” stories.

Zachary Biglane

is a mostly self-taught guitarist who hails from the deep recesses of the Jones County wilderness. His musical journey started at age 9 after watching Led Zeppelin’s ‘76 documentary. Starting as a drummer, Biglane was drawn to stringed instruments from his influences of Malcolm Young (AC/DC), Allen Collins (Lynyrd Skynyrd), Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), and Keith Richards (The Rolling Stones); and has been performing, since age 23, on bass and guitar in several projects before joining Half Dollar Rodeo.

Jake Biglane

of Ellisville, MS began playing guitar at the age of 8 when he was enrolled in private lessons. Out of a necessity in his small town, the bass guitar fell into his hands and age 15 and he stepped up to fill a vital role in any band’s sound. The rest is history, as they say. Jake has previously gigged across the south with a top 40’s Country hits project, as well as filling in many spots for bands in need of some low end. His biggest influences are Mark Hoppus (Blink 182), Pino Palladino, Danny Dempsey (Turnover), and Robert Trujillo (Metallica).

Colten Yates
